Lucie Hendry is a lever harpist from Scotland, currently residing in Denmark. Developing a reputation in the global harp community, Lucie has forged a path of musical innovation and international collaboration. Alongside musicians from Denmark and Scotland, she performs in the Lucie Hendry Trio, crafting a unique blend of original folk music infused with contemporary jazz influences. Their distinctive sound is deeply inspired by Lucie’s experiences since relocating to Denmark in 2021.

In June 2023, Lucie released her debut solo album, Land of Eden, recorded by her trio. The album has received widespread acclaim, featuring on national radio in both Denmark and the UK, including stations such as DR P8, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 2. The trio has toured in Denmark and Scotland with performances at major festivals such as Celtic Connections, Godtfolk and Aarhus & Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

The Lucie Hendry Trio skilfully blend uplifting melodies, unexpected rhythms, and intricate musical textures, offering a refreshing interpretation of folk music. Each member of the trio brings their distinctive musical style, creating an immersive and melodious experience for their audiences, that is deeply rooted in tradition.
