Hygge Tunes Series 2022

Is it too late to wish happy new year - nah, I don’t think so!

It has been so much fun getting my ‘Hygge Tunes’ series up and running since last May. For anyone who is new to the series, it’s basically a monthly tune release of my original harp music. I post a video on my Youtube channel, Instagram page and Facebook page as well as links to the sheet music for purchase in PDF format from my website. Click HERE to check out the tunes!

This has been a really wonderful creative outlet for me and I’ve loved having mini writing/recording projects every month. My inspiration comes from sources such as people, nature, environmental issues and sustainability. To date I’ve released 7 tunes and I have compiled the first 6 into 1 download called ‘The Hygge Tunes Collection 1’ which is a whole lot of harp music :)

I’m currently writing February’s tune and will record it next week so stay tuned! Lots more exciting music planned for the next half year too! Also, did I mention the tune series will run for a year altogether but more exciting things are to follow! Thanks for all the much appreciated support so far.

Note on ‘hygge’: a Danish word that doesn’t have a direct English translation but is used to describe a mood of cosiness, comfort and wellbeing - I think having tea and cake with a friend could be described as being ‘hygge’ :)
